Spring Community Yard Sale
When: Saturday, April 28, 8:00am - 12:00pm(rain date April 29)
Where: Parking Lot of the Island Creek Clubhouse
Spaces are limited and are assigned ahead of time on a first-come first-served basis. Residents need to request a space so sign up early to participate in our spring community yard sale. If you want to reserve a space, send an email with Garage Sale in the Subject line to Bernadette at flowergirl70@cox.net. Please
include your address and contact number. Spaces are limited to Island Creek residents.
The lot will be closed off to parking the night before and any cars in the lot on Saturday morning will be towed. Residents can come early in the morning to set out their stuff as the lot will be open and spaces marked
off and numbered.
There will be a large banner at the community entrance the week of the sale and ads will be placed in the newspaper and a listing posted on Craigslist. You can also set out by your home and put up signs.

Note From the Grounds Committee
We are having a lot of root problems with the trees that were planted by the builder. If you have to replace a tree we recommend staying away from large shade trees as those are the ones causing the root problems. Instead our landscape company arborist recommends you use Crape Myrtles, River Birch, Katsura or Saucer Magnolia. These are medium growing trees without an aggressive root system.
